Saadi was a traveler and a poet. He learnt life through his journey and that is reflected in his poetry. He proclaims the unity of mankind through his poetry.
His poems have been translated into almost all languages of the world. The great Goethe, the German genius, was among the first to translate Saadi's poetry. The Europeans came to know about the genius of Saadi through Goethe's translation.
